Plan mechanics

What does "included" actually mean?

Whatever's listed as included on your plan is $0 at checkout, as often as your skin is ready (see cooldown below). Anything else you add gets your member discount automatically.

What's a cooldown and why do you have one?

Waxing pulls hair from the follicle and lifts the top layer of skin. Threading is gentler but still micro-irritating. Facials use active ingredients. Spacing visits a few days apart gives your skin time to fully recover — so you keep glowing instead of getting inflamed. It's the difference between great long-term results and short-term irritation.

My plan says "Threading or Waxing" — can I get both?

You pick whichever you prefer at each visit, and it counts as your one included visit. If you want the other one in the same visit, it gets your member discount instead of being free.

What counts as one visit?

One completed service of the type listed on your plan. If your plan includes Threading and you come in for Threading, that's a visit. Add-ons like tint or wax to the same appointment don't burn an extra visit.

What does member pricing on everything else mean?

Anything not already included in your plan — services, add-ons, or retail — gets your member pricing automatically at checkout.

What if I want a service that's not included?

Book it like normal. Your member pricing applies automatically at checkout.

Billing & cancellation

When am I charged?

The day you sign up, then on the same day every month. We'll email a receipt each time.

How do I cancel?

From the link in your welcome email, or visit Manage membership. Cancel anytime — you'll keep your benefits through the end of the period you've already paid for. No cancellation fees.

Can I pause my membership?

Reach out and we'll help. For short pauses (vacation, illness), the cooldown system already keeps you from "losing" visits you weren't going to use. For longer pauses, cancellation and rejoining is usually simplest.

Do unused visits roll over?

By default, no — your monthly allowance resets each billing cycle. This keeps the price low and is fine for most members, since the cooldown spacing naturally lines up with monthly visits.

Do I get a refund if I cancel mid-month?

We don't prorate, but you keep all benefits through the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Use your included visit before it resets.

Booking & check-in

How do I check in as a member?

Walk in and check in with your phone number like normal. We'll see your membership instantly and your benefits apply automatically. No app, no card, no codes.

Can I use my membership at any Myra location?

Each membership is tied to the location you signed up at (each location bills separately). If you visit another Myra, your benefits don't transfer — but you're welcome to sign up there too.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes — but the membership benefits only apply to your services. Your friend pays the regular walk-in rate.

Do I need to show a card or app?

Nope. Your phone number is your membership.

Skin & service science

Why can't I come in every week for waxing?

Hair has to grow back to a length the wax can grip (usually about 2–3 weeks), and your skin needs time to repair after the lift. Waxing too often leads to broken hairs, ingrowns, and irritation. The cooldown protects your results.

Will threading every 2 weeks damage my brows?

Threading itself is very gentle on skin, but the surrounding hairs need time to grow into the shape you want. Most members do best on a 2–4 week cadence depending on growth.

What's the ideal cadence for facials?

Most skin types do best with one facial every 3–4 weeks — that matches the skin's natural turnover cycle. More often can over-exfoliate and disrupt your skin barrier.

I have sensitive skin — is membership still right for me?

Absolutely. The cooldown is exactly what sensitive skin needs — built-in spacing so we never overdo it. Let your provider know at check-in and they'll adjust technique accordingly.
